06:30: PM This morning, the entire crew woke up a bit earlier than planned. Indeed, in Utah, we changed time! After an intense sports session organized by Célyan, the crew calmly has breakfast, and as everyone is about to start cleaning the station, we hear alerting cries: Quentin warns us that someone has taken Didier, our mascot! In fact, Célyan and he have organized an escape game throughout the station! After solving numerous puzzles and freeing Didier, we returned to our chores.

The second half of the day remained rather calm. We just had to continue with weekly and daily experiments, even if our schedule is more flexible. However, we still need to answer more questionnaires than usual. Some of us also have cognitive tests throughout the day, like Erin this morning, and reports or daily tasks to complete. If Meddi didn’t water the plants in the GreenHab, all our reserve of herbs would perish, Célyan still has to prepare our sports session for tomorrow, Robin is writing a report confirming that the station is operational, Somaya manages our retrospectives and I personally have to write today’s report and process all the crew’s photos. This weekend is also special because it precedes the last week we spend in the station, i.e., the one where we must uninstall many operational devices and complete ongoing experiments. We discussed at length how we should arrange the week and whether or not to continue certain experiments next week. Bad news: we will not benefit from the AMI experience during the mission, but we still have the last quarter of the mission to complete as many experiments beautifully.

Sol Activity Summary: Thay day started with everyone noticing the hour change! We saw that we “lost” one hour of sleep… But never mind, everyone was motivated for the sport session. We were planning to clean the station right after, but our Crew Astronomer and Crew HSo surprised us with an escape game they organized during the week, in week we had to find Didier, our mascot, who had disappeared! After searching for evidence in all the modules, we finally found him safe! It was a very fun game for all the crew members and everyone was very happy.

After that, we cleaned the station as planned and had lunch. Then, everyone enjoyed the rest of the day to rest, have fun, and play. Everyone enjoyed our last Sunday at the station!

Look Ahead Plan: Tomorrow, we are planning an EVA to have the last session of the photogrammetry experiment. The team will have the drone during the EVA and tale pictures of the area to then use photogrammetry software to create a 3D map. Meanwhile, experiments will continue to run in the MDRS and in the afternoon, we’ll try to have the team using a 2D map ready for the next day.

Summary Title:

Mission Status: Nominal

Sol Activity Summary: This morning, everyone worked on different experiments. In the Science Dome, Crew Astronomer worked on his astronomy project while Crew Scientist worked on a lesson she must study for her master. Meanwhile, in the Hab, Crew HSO worked on a personal project, Crew Engineer tried to figure out why our 3D-printer has recurrent bugs, and Crew Commander worked on documentation for Core Data. The GreenHab Officer took care of the GreenHab as usual.

After eating some potatoes with chicken, we gathered to start the measurement for EVOLSAN: everyone wore a microphone the whole afternoon to record everything we say. We went all together in the RAM and in the GreenHab in order to evaluate what could be done differently in those modules, while our Crew Journalist was taking notes and drawing our ideas. Thus was the second session of this type for the Orbital Architecture experiment!

The end of the day was calmer, every crew member was working on their project or experiments before filling in the daily questionnaires.

Look Ahead Plan: Tomorrow, we don’t plan to perform any EVA. We’ll stay at the station to continue working on the experiments we need, to run sessions, and to rest a bit.
