Summary Title: Calm day on Mars
Mission Status: The routine is there, everything flows smoothly
Sol Activity Summary:
As we are leaving the mid-point of our mission behind us, we feel more than ever like we have been on Mars for a very long time. While we are still in great shape and eager to continue to get great results during the mission, the days are starting to look very similar each morning. We are encountering less and less issues in the station, and the atmosphere feels calmer now, everyone found their rhythm and accomplishes their tasks with ease. We did Yoga in the morning, activating our bodies and resting our mind at the same time.
We had a small worry about a gas leak today in the Hab, but after checking with the station’s sensors, it seems to have been a false alarm, only the smelling product is leaking in the lower Hab from time to time.
Today’s EVA got farther than we ever did during this mission, discovering once again new landscapes to wonder about.
The whole crew keeps working on our mid-mission video in parallel to our usual other activities.
Look Ahead Plan:
We are looking to keep working on the Photogrammetry and Stratigraphy experiments with more EVAs in the week, and we keep on conducting all experiments in the station.
Anomalies in work:
– Small leak on the feeding tube for the toilet’s flush (see yesterday’s Operations Report)
