Report prepared by: Gaspard THIEULIN
Date: 12/03/2026
Sol: 25
Summary Title: Wrapping up
Mission Status: Going great, 1 sol left
Sol Activity Summary: We were again quite busy today, as the objective was to wrap up the bulk of most of our experiments. In the morning, we continued to work hard on the SupaeroMoon rover, to fix some of the issues encountered yesterday before our final EVA in the afternoon. We kept progressing on our end of mission reports and assessments, and we filmed as much as possible for the mission’s documentary.
In the afternoon, we conducted our last EVA. It was emotional for the EVA team, as they recalled all the good times spent discovering beautiful landscapes around the station and thought about wearing the suit one last (perhaps not so !) time. The team successfully disassembled the atmospheric experiments and could test the SupaeroMoon rover in the field again. It behaved better this time around, and we have tons of feedback for the team back in France.
We are spending our last evening in simulation in the MDRS and we are getting kind of emotional. It has been such a wonderful experience these past few weeks, and we look back with so much feelings.
Look Ahead Plan: Tomorrow will be our last sol in simulation, which we will end at 17:00. We will thoroughly clean the station in the morning, wrap up every last experiment and publish our end of mission reports in the afternoon. We look forward to coming back to Earth, not without some nostalgia about the time we spent on our simulated Mars.
