Summary Title: Exploring, Experimenting and Embracing the Wind
Mission Status:
A productive yet quiet day.
Sol Activity Summary:
Half of the team woke up at 6.30 am while the other half woke up at 8am. We had cereal with milk for breakfast. The EVA was at Gateway to Lilith to explore the environment to find suitable terrain for Joanna’s research but we have concluded that it will be a bit far.
For lunch we had omelette with bread and then started working on our reports. Zahraa was able to start her experiments with the Crew in L deck. We also worked a lot on personal projects as the wind outside wouldn’t allow us to do a second EVA. This evening dinner is pasta bake with broccoli and we are going to play board games.
Look Ahead Plan:
Tomorrow we will continue Antoine’s research. We are planning to test running it without him in the afternoon in order to go out all at once during the day and avoid biasing his experiment. We will also be working on our own experiments.
Anomalies in work:
The charger for one of the suits is no longer charging.
Weather:
It was very windy today and quite noisy inside the hab, but the sun was out which was a nice change.
Crew Physical Status:
Everyone is doing well.
EVA:
We will ultimately not be using the location for Joanna’s experiment as it is too far, but it was a great outing nonetheless.
