Sol Summary – March 3rd

Crew 311 Sol Summary Report 03-03-2025

Sol: 15

Summary Title:

Author’s name: Erin Pougheon, Crew Commander

Mission Status: Nominal

Sol Activity Summary: This third week in the MDRS started with a big EVA for some crew members. They went to Sea of Shells to take pictures with the drone and create a 3D map for the photogrammetry experiment. They had to go back to the station earlier than planned because of the rain, but they were okay with the schedule, so it was not a problem!

In the afternoon, we gathered to talk about the architecture of the station for the Orbital Architecture experiment. The aim was to try and identify possible ways to upgrade station’s equipment in order to create a better station, helped by the sketching skills of our Crew Journalist!

Look Ahead Plan: Tomorrow, everyone will stay at the station and conduct experiment sessions. We want to have the 3D map ready for the next EVAs of the week, when it will be needed.
