Sol Summary – February 27th

Crew 311 Sol Summary Report 27-02-2025

Sol: 11

Summary Title:

Author’s name: Erin Pougheon, Crew Commander

Mission Status: Nominal

Sol Activity Summary: This morning, the HUMANISE session failed: we couldn’t teleoperate the rover because of the bad weather where the rover is located (Netherlands). It wasn’t a problem and crew members adapted their schedule to work on the mid-rotation video. Everyone participated by giving ideas and opinions while Crew Scientist and Crew Journalist specifically spent time editing. We also continued 3D-printing what we need for experiments or for everyday life in the station.

The afternoon started with the beginning of the common recording for the EVOLSAN experiment and we wore the recording equipment all afternoon long. We spent time writing reports for outreach purposes and Crew Commander and Crew HSO prepared their EVA to Candor Chasma with the 3D map, to find checkpoints tomorrow!

Look Ahead Plan: Tomorrow will be centered on the last EVA at Candor Chasma with the 3D map to find checkpoints. Then, everyone will prepare the mid-rotation (mid-rotation video, mid-rotation scientific report, …) while continuing working on experiments.
